Volunteering at the NCLP

Every year, the National Criminal Law Program is supported by a team of invaluable volunteers made up of law and articling students.

20 volunteers are required to offer 2 days of support to the program: July 9 or 10, plus one of July 11, 12, 13, or 14. Volunteers will assist with: stuffing delegate bags, registration, conducting Faculty tours, directing VIPs, directing delegates to breakout rooms, escorting delegates to empty seats, assisting exhibitors, and other tasks.

Volunteers must have customer service experience. Bilingualism is highly favoured.

In exchange for volunteering, you may attend the conference and are entitled to conference materials and a conference T-shirt. The NCLP is not able to provide accommodation or compensate for meals or travel expenses. Lunch will be provided on July 9 and 10.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the NCLP coordinator, Julie Begbie at nclpcoordinator@flsc.ca by May 15, 2023, including where you are studying or articling, and a brief description of your customer service experience. Successful applicants will be notified by May 31, 2023.
