The National Family Law Program

Since its introduction in 1988, the National Family Law Program is Canada’s largest and most prestigious family law conference. It attracts approximately 500 family law practitioners, members of the judiciary and representatives from government and academia from across Canada.  The four-day bi-annual conference offers a breadth of educational content through a variety of presentation formats offered by leaders in the field. 

The format of presentations includes keynote plenary lectures as well as group workshops and concurrent break-out sessions. Covering topics ranging from spousal support to domestic violence to family trusts and beyond, registrants from across Canada can typically fulfill all their annual CLE requirements through attendance at the NFLP.

Upcoming NFLP Programs

The 2028 National Family Law Program will be held July 17-20 in Montréal, QC. Call for papers will open in early 2027. Registration will open in early 2028.
