Please be advised that because of ongoing labour issues at Canada Post, regular mail service within Canada has been disrupted. On November 15, 2018, Canada Post issued a statement advising it would no longer accept incoming mail from all other countries. This ban on incoming international mail will be in effect until further notice. As a result, the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) and the Federation of Law Societies of Canada cannot be responsible for any delays in the processing of documents or applications where documents have been sent to our offices in Ottawa, Canada by regular post. With the intermittent service interruptions, there may also be delays in the delivery of NCA Certificates of Qualification, and in the return of original documents to you. Canada Post says any mail now in their system will be delivered, but will be delayed. Private courier services are not affected.
